"I needed a way to travel internationally while keeping my home IP address for work and banking. I paired the Beryl 7 with a GL-MT5000 (Brume 3) back at my house in Rochester, MI. This combo is essentially a "teleportation" device for your internet connection. The Performance is Real Wi-Fi 7 is great for future-proofing, but the real star is the quad-core CPU. When you’re running a heavy WireGuard tunnel, cheaper routers usually choke and slow your speeds to a crawl. The Beryl 7 handles it like a champ. I can hop on a hotel’s 2. 5G port and get nearly my full home speed over the VPN."

Great little travel router

"I could not be more impressed with this travel router! I’ve been holding out on getting one for ages thinking it wouldn’t be super useful. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong. Every time I travel I’m hooking up 3-10 devices (between my spouse and I) to insecure hotel WiFi. Well instead now I’m connecting a single device and done - that alone is worth it. Then I have it connect back to my home VPN securing all my traffic for both of us, she’s not as tech savvy as I am so she wouldn’t bother trying to figure out the hassle. Add to that it enabled us to play some co-op games together without real internet today and our travel day passed by super quick. If you’ve been thinking about getting a travel router, this is the device you want (and need)."

Easy setup and works like a charm
