RETURN POLICY

30-day return policy

You may request a refund or replacement for GL.iNet device for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our product. Shall you wish to return the device purchased please do so within 30 days of dispatch, and kindly follow these simple instructions. Please note, the device must be damage-free and returned in perfect condition with the original package and accessories .

 

How to return?

 

  • Contact customer support with your order NO.*
  • We share the correspondingreturn address with you.
  • Wrap the returned item(s) in the original packing.
  • Enclose a copy of the (or original) receipt.
  • Return via your preferred shipping methodand share the tracking NO. with us.
  • Please allow 10 business days for the credit to be reflected in your account after we confirm receipt of your returns.

*If you receive a damaged package, please refuse it and provide photos and the device's MAC information when following the RMA procedure.

 

Customers will need to afford the return shipping fee except for the following:

 

  • You received an incorrect item.
  • You received a damaged item.
  • You received a defective item.

For your own benefit, we recommend that you use a traceable carrier that can provide you with the delivery confirmation. GL-iNet shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the Return or Refund Product in transit.

 

Return policy beyond 30 days

 

Beyond the 30 days but within the warranty, a full refund is not available, but replacement or repair is acceptable. You are responsible for the return shipping fees and GL-iNet will bear the freight of new replacements or repaired units.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at cs@gl-inet.com first and send your item to the address we provide via email.

 

Return Policy for Products Purchased from a Third-Party

If the GL-iNet product that you have purchased from the third-party stores or vendors does not function to your satisfaction or does not apply to your installation, please contact the third-party store or vendor where the product was originally purchased for the return and refund policy. All the return and refund processes related to the GL-iNet products purchased from third-party stores or vendors are subject to the specific policies of the third-party stores or vendors. Please refer to the return and refund policy of the original store or vendor that you purchased your GL-iNet product for specific information. GL-iNet is not responsible for their refund and return.



Warranty Policy

 

IMPORTANT – Please read this warranty carefully to understand your rights and obligations. The term “You” means either an individual or a single legal entity who will be referred to in this Warranty as “You” and “Your”.

 

Limited Warranty

GL Technologies (Hong Kong) Limited (“GL”) provide 2 years’  limited warranty for all Products purchased from GL-iNet. We warrants that the hardware portion of a new Router will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal use from the date of original retail purchase of the product. This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in locations the Router is sold and will apply only if you purchased your Router from GL or its authorized resellers.

This Limited Warranty only applies to hardware components (and not any software elements) of the Router, and this Limited Warranty does not apply if:

  1. the Router is damaged by Acts of God, power surge, misuse, negligence, accident, wear and tear, mishandling, misapplication or other causes unrelated to defects in the Router;
  2. the Router is used for commercial purposes (including rental or lease);
  3. the Router has been tampered with, the case has been opened, or assembly seal has been removed or damage;
  4. the Router has been altered or modified, or the software has been manipulated;
  5. the Router damage was caused by use with non-GL products;
  6. the Router has not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained in accordance with instructions supplied by GL;
  7. the Router has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress, misuse, negligence, or accident;
  8. the Router is supplied or licensed for beta, evaluation, testing or demonstration purposes for which GL does not charge a purchase price or license fee; or the product has been used with a power adapter other than that provided by GL if provided.

 

This Limited Warranty does not guarantee that use of the Router will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Limited Warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser of the product. Proof of purchase and a complete product serial number are required to receive any services guaranteed as part of the limited warranty. If this product fails to work as warranted above, the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy and GL’s sole liability shall be repair or replacement. GL’s maximum liability under this limited warranty is expressly limited to the lesser of the price you have paid for the product or the cost of repair or replacement of any hardware components that malfunction under normal use.

If proof of purchase can't be provided, a warranty period start date will be assigned by GL., all Router or part thereof that is replaced by GL, or for which the purchase price is refunded, shall become the property of GL upon replacement or refund.

 

Limitation of Warranty Period:

To the extent not prohibited by law, all implied warranties and conditions or merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of the warranty period. All other express or implied conditions, representations and warranties, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty or non-infringement, and disclaimed. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Where any term of this Warranty is prohibited by such laws, it shall be null and void, but the remainder of the Warranty shall remain in full force and effect if its allocation of risks is not materially disturbed.  

 

Limitation of Liability:

To the extent not prohibited by law, in no event will GL be liable for any lost data, revenue or profit, or for special, indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damages, regardless of the theory of liability (including negligence), arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the product (including any software), even if GL has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The foregoing limitations will apply even if any warranty or remedy provided under this limited warranty fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Limited Software Warranty

GL warrants that the software portion of the product (“Software”) will substantially conform to GL’s then current functional specifications for the Software, as set forth in the applicable documentation, from the date of original retail purchase of the Software for a period of ninety (90) days (“Software Warranty Period”), provided that the Software is properly installed on approved hardware and operated as contemplated in its documentation. The customer’s sole and exclusive remedy and the entire liability of GL and its suppliers under this Limited Warranty will be, at GL’s option, to replace the non-conforming Software (or defective media) with software that substantially conforms to GL’s functional specifications for the Software or to refund the portion of the actual purchase price paid that is attributable to the Software. Except as otherwise agreed by GL in writing, the replacement Software is provided only to the original licensee; and is subject to the terms and conditions of the license granted by GL for the Software. Replacement Software will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period and is subject to the same limitations and exclusions. If a material non-conformance is incapable of correction, or if GL determines in its sole discretion that it is not practical to replace the non-conforming Software, the price paid by the original licensee for the non-conforming Software will be refunded by GL; provided that the non-conforming Software (and all copies thereof) is first returned to GL. The license granted respecting any Software for which a refund is given automatically terminates.
